When you enter some vacation rentals you feel as though you have been deceived. The Kismet Cottage is not one of those. It is a charming little house downtown St. Joseph, MI with three bedrooms and lots of comfy beds! The owner definitely takes a lot of pride in this vacation rental by the way the house feels and looks when you enter it.

On the first floor you have a small kitchen and dining room with all the utensils and stuff you need to create a great meal. When I arrived the owner had left some chocolate and a bottle of Champaign for me. There is also a popcorn container that she tells everyone they can take with them to the local theatre to use because you can get free popcorn. The rest of the first floor is the living room which felt like home. The décor is definitely comforting. There is also a sun porch and a half bath on this level.

On the second level there are three bedrooms with one full bath. One bedroom has a king and a twin bed. The middle room has a double bed and the last room has a queen and a twin bed. There is room for everyone!

The location of the house downtown is ideal. It does not have a backyard but a porch with furniture. It is next to the fire station but never did I hear anything. It is a block away from all the great restaurants and cute shopping that St. Joseph, MI has to offer. Silver Beach on Lake Michigan is also only down the bluff from downtown so it is an easy walk.

This house is perfect for a chick vacation because not only can it house all of your friends but it has great charm and accessibility to everything in St. Joseph, MI. The owner will even help you plan your gals weekend if you talk with her. She will even put a package together including gift certificates and everything! The best part of this house is that the owner really has the rental priced fairly and you do not feel as though you are being taken advantage of.
