Great 4th of July Drink: Sweet Sparkling Watermelon

Are you like me and always trying to find the perfect drink with the event you are hosting?

Freixenet sent me an email with some recipes for summer drinks and I think this one tops the charts for all 4th of July parties!

Ingredients:

1 watermelon
1 bottle of Freixenet Sweet Cuvée Cava

That is it!  How easy!!!

Directions:

Cut 1/4th off the top off a seedless watermelon. Scoop out the fruit and purée. Put 2 tbsp in a wine glass, and top off with Freixenet Sweet Cuvée Cava. Pour the remaining purée back in the hollow watermelon to enjoy throughout the day.
